We’re seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established contractor delivering some of London’s most prestigious high-end residential projects, typically ranging from £5m–£10m in value.

This is a prime opportunity for a commercially driven professional with a background in super prime residential construction to manage the financial and contractual aspects of multiple design-led schemes, spanning both new builds and complex refurbishments, across London.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all cost control, procurement, and contractual matters on high-end residential projects

Prepare, negotiate, and manage subcontractor and supplier packages

Monitor project costs, valuations, and financial reporting to ensure profitability

Provide accurate forecasts and cash flow reports throughout project lifecycle

Work closely with project managers and site teams to manage change control and variations

Carry out value engineering and cost-saving initiatives without compromising design integrity

Liaise with clients, consultants, and legal teams to protect commercial interests

Ensure projects are delivered in line with contract terms, budgets, and timelines

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on high-end or super prime residential projects (£5m–£10m)

Strong knowledge of contract administration (JCT preferred), procurement, and cost planning

Capable of managing both refurbishment and new build project finances

Excellent negotiation, reporting, and commercial acumen

Comfortable working closely with clients, consultants, and subcontractors

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Proficiency with relevant software (e.g. Excel, CostX, or similar QS tools)

Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline preferred
