We are recruiting for a leading name within the Asbestos Removals industry. Our client is seeking an Asbestos Removals Contracts Manager to oversee projects in the South West region. It is essential that applicants have a proven track record of successfully delivering removals projects, ensuring works are completed to a high and safe standard. Applicants will need strong technical knowledge and a good manner for liaising with clients on a daily basis. Our client is seeking a candidate in / around: Bath, Frome, Warminster, Chippenham, Swindon, Cirencester, Stroud, Dursley, Thornbury, Yate, Bristol, Portishead, Weston-super-Mare, Bridgwater, Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet, Taunton, Yeovil, Shaftesbury, Salisbury, Chard, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Witney, Lydney, Chepstow, Tewksbury, Cardiff, Newport, Evesham, Hereford, Ross-on-Wye.
Experience / Qualifications:
– Must have a successful record managing key client contracts for Asbestos Removals projects
– Strong management experience
– It would be beneficial to hold the SMSTS
– Robust technical knowledge
– Comfortable liaising with clients on a daily basis
– Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
– Hardworking attitude
The Role:
– Overseeing the successful delivery of asbestos removals projects for a varied portfolio of clients
– Monitoring projects from start to finish, ensuring they run to agreed scope and deadline
– Meeting new and existing clients to discuss projects and provide technical advice and updates
– Managing teams of asbestos removals staff and subcontractors
– Completing competency checks and making recommendations for any areas of training
– Acting as point of contact for site staff and clients
– Attending site to scope for projects and conduct risk assessments
– Creating detailed tenders and quotations
– Troubleshooting issues on site
– Producing regular reports
– Working closely with supervisors to monitor performance and progress
