M&E Project Manager

Are you a proven MEP/M&E Project Manager with a passion for delivering excellence on high-profile construction projects? We are recruiting for a leading specialist joinery and interior fit-out contractor, recognised for their work on some of the capitals most luxurious and iconic projects.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced MEP Manager to join their team.

The Role

My client are the fit out contractor on a major high end residential project in Mayfair consisting of 30 super prime apartments, luxury amentities and concierge. We are lookin for a proven 360 Building Services/MEP Manager to join the project team. Our clients Project Value is circa £22m.

Key Duties

* Assist in preparing tender enquiries and submissions for MEP sub-contract packages.

* Represent the contractor as MEP specialist in pre- and post-tender meetings with clients.

* On contract award, lead selection and procurement of MEP sub-contractors and consultants with the Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor.

* Develop and manage MEP project programmes covering design, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.

* Ensure the contractor’s contractual MEP obligations are fulfilled.

* Integrate and track MEP works within the contractor’s detailed fit-out programmes.

* Oversee M&E installation works by sub-contractors or direct labour, ensuring compliance with operational and SHEQ procedures.

* Provide leadership and coordination of MEP works within the contractor’s full fit-out scope.

* Ensure all installations comply with health, safety, quality, environmental standards, and building regulations.

* Maintain strong supply chain relationships, reviewing contractor and supplier performance and taking action when required.

* Monitor and report on progress, resolve MEP issues, manage risks, and drive timely resolution.

About You:

* Extensive experience as a lead MEP/M&E/Building Services Manager on high end/major fit out projects

* Qualification in Construction Management/Building Services or a related construction discipline

* Strong commercial awareness with proven leadership and people management skill

* Confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
