Role: Digital Design Engineer (Revit) – Permanent 
  
Location: Birmingham, West Brom, Smethwick – Can be remote with occasional travel to site
  
Salary: £40k-£45k DOE

Reports to: Lead Digital Design Engineer

Are you an experienced Revit specialist with a passion for precision, problem-solving and collaboration? We’re looking for a Digital Design Engineer to join our Clients Building Products Division and play a key role in delivering high-quality cold rolled steel system designs for secured projects.

🔧 What you’ll do
Produce fully detailed steelwork models using Autodesk Revit.
Create construction drawings, shop drawings, and supporting technical documentation.
Manage Revit models: file structure, naming conventions, version control and clash detection.
Generate accurate material take-offs to support cost estimation and procurement.
Collaborate closely with engineers, document control, and project teams to meet key deadlines.
Liaise directly with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to deliver effective design solutions.
Support BIM compliance, CDM 2015 requirements, and industry “golden thread” standards.
Contribute to continuous process improvement and technical marketing activities. What we’re looking for
HNC (or equivalent) or relevant industry experience.
3+ years’ experience using Revit for cold rolled steel designs.
Strong ability to interpret architectural & engineering drawings.
Confident communicator, able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
