Graduate Site Engineer

A well-established regional civil engineering and groundworks contractor is seeking a Graduate Site Engineer to join their growing delivery team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious graduate looking to build a long-term career within a company delivering projects up to £80m across the Midlands.

You’ll work under the guidance of senior engineers, gaining hands-on exposure to site activities, technical coordination, and the processes that bring projects from drawings to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist with setting out, surveying, and interpretation of engineering drawings.

* Support site teams with technical guidance and problem solving.

* Maintain accurate records and ensure works meet quality standards.

* Contribute to Health & Safety compliance and site reporting.

* Gain exposure to CAD, QA documentation, GPS/survey equipment, and RFIs.

* Attend coordination and progress meetings to build client and subcontractor interface skills.

What We’re Looking For:

* Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

* Strong communication skills and a collaborative, hands-on approach.

* MUST BE LOCATED IN DERBYSHIRE

* Enthusiasm to learn and progress in site engineering.

* Flexibility to travel to live projects across the Midlands.
