Established for more than six decades, this agricultural and construction company design and manufacture a wide range of bespoke silo systems and equipment for the agricultural sector. With a product range of 60+ designs, they are a trusted supplier to farms and agricultural businesses across the UK. In this role, you will work closely with the Design Manager, supporting less experienced colleagues while using AutoCAD and Inventor to produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D models. You will be responsible for interpreting technical specifications, liaising with production and fabrication teams, and ensuring that designs are practical, cost-effective, and tailored to customer requirements. This is a great opportunity for a motivated CAD Technician to step into a senior role and play a key part in the company's ongoing success.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years' experience in a CAD role, with strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor. This is an office-based role near Preston.

The Role:
Produce 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Inventor
Interpret and develop technical drawings and specifications
Liaise with production and fabrication teams to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective
Support junior members of the design teamThe Person:
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a CAD Technician role
Proficient with AutoCAD and Inventor (2D & 3D)
Confident liaising with multiple teams (design, sales, production)
Strong communication skills and team player
Commutable distance to the office near Preston
