Bim Coordinator

2 days in office / 3 days working from home

Purpose of the role:

The BIM Manager will support the design team throughout the entire project lifecycle—from opportunity and pre-construction phases through to practical completion and soft landings—ensuring all BIM activities are planned, coordinated, and delivered in line with project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Input into project programmes, setting key milestone dates and ensuring BIM deliverables are represented on the Task Information Delivery Plan (TIDP) for each staged design assurance gate, and aligned with the P6 programme.

* Oversee the timely delivery of BIM outputs in accordance with the project programme.

* Develop, manage, and maintain detailed 3D models and drawings for building services using Autodesk Revit (Autodesk Certified) and AutoCAD

* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the integration of MEPH design data into the overall project model.

* Lead clash detection, design development, and project review processes using Navisworks and other coordination tools client and client’s subcontractors.

* QA check drawings and models to ensure compliance with Client and ISO 19650 standards.

* Ensure BIM workflows comply with ISO 19650 and BS/PAS 1192 standards.

* Provide guidance and technical support on BIM processes, software use, and data management to internal teams and external stakeholders

MEPh systems

Strong knowledge of MEPH systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, communications, and fire design

Knowledge of Codes and Standards

Understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Has experience of referring to MEPH British standards
