This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and capable Building Surveyor to join a growing, multi-disciplinary team. With roles available at multiple levels, the practice is open to applicants from Assistant through to Senior Surveyor, depending on skills and experience.

Building Surveyor – Salary & Benefits

Salary: £30,000 – £60,000 DOE
34 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)

Building Surveyor – Job Overview

Conducting building condition surveys and providing maintenance advice
Preparing detailed specifications, drawings, and schedules of work
Administering contracts and managing capital improvement programmes
Liaising with clients and consultants to deliver high-quality outcomes
Ensuring deadlines and standards are met across multiple projects
Contributing to the team's knowledge base and collaborative approach

Building Surveyor – Job Requirements

BSc in Building Surveying or similar discipline (or qualified by experience)
Minimum 5 years' experience preferred
Candidates from Assistant through to Senior level will be considered for this role
Strong understanding of commercial property and surveying practice
Experience within the education sector is advantageous but not essential
Confident using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools
Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills
A proactive and self-motivated approach to project delivery
Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to sites as needed
