The Company
The company is a medium sized Main Contractor – that take on projects of the General Build Nature, from new build steel frame warehouses to New Build Schools & Residential & Commercial Units. This company has double in size in the last 12 months due to successful tendering and already have a very health pipeline of work for 2026.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Contracts Manager who has a proven record of accomplishment across varied sectors. The opportunity would be for someone to work across several varying sectors including Education / Healthcare / Industrial / Commercial / Residential. From £1m – £10m value size, The right candidate will be juggling 3-5 projects at anyone time, overseeing projects contractually, with Senior Site Managers / Project Managers reporting in to you, making sure the programme is being met on time.
The project includes –
The contracts will be to deliver a new build / refurbishment & extensions on varying Educational Projects / New build small residential Developments / new build Industrial sheds / Refits of fully operational Live Hospital Wards & much more.
The Candidate must prove they have run projects from conception to completion across varying sectors. The ability to programme works, and oversee fully operations of multiple sites, whilst liasing with client & project team reporting in to you.
Skills / Experience required:
• Reporting directly to Director, the Contracts Manager will have complete autonomy for all on site activities.
• High level of practical knowledge of relevant employment, Health and Safety and general legislative requirements
• Excellent Leader with strong communication skills.
• Responsible for overall management of the programme.
• Adheres to the highest standards of health and safety.
• Planning and organisational skills
• Proven longevity with previous employers
• Proven track record of managing projects from start to completion.
• Overseeing management of on-site sub-contractors.
Must have SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
