About the Role

We're working with a busy and growing build consultancy in Birmingham, looking to hire an Assistant Building Surveyor. This is a great opportunity to develop your career and gain hands-on experience across a range of property and construction projects.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting senior surveyors with site inspections and reports

Helping manage building projects from start to finish

Assisting with defect analysis and repair work

Preparing documents like specifications and schedules of work

Communicating with clients, contractors, and colleagues

Learning and growing your skills in a supportive team

What We're Looking For

A degree in Building Surveying (or working towards it)

Some experience in a similar role (placement or graduate level)

Good communication and writing skills

Comfortable using Microsoft Office (AutoCAD or Revit is a bonus)

Keen to learn, reliable, and well-organised

A driving licence is useful but not essential
