Overview

Are you an experienced Architectural Technologist with good AutoCAD skills and would be interested in some freelance work with a highly respected Architectural practice in the Stockport area?

If so, then I am keen to speak with you about a role with our client on their exciting new project.

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Technologist to support the detailed design of a sizeable new commercial / hospitality project.

Key responsibilities will include:

Collaborate with the wider design team to translate concept into detailed technical drawings and construction documents.
Ensure the technical accuracy and compliance of architectural drawings and specifications.
Attend site visits and liaise with all necessary stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of the scheme.
About you

Suitable candidates should be able to demonstrate:

Minimum of 5 years' experience within a design consultancy environment.
Proficiency with AutoCAD is essential.
Experience of steel frame and SFS construction methods
A portfolio demonstrating suitable experience, ideally of projects within the hospitality or leisure sectors.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplined design and delivery teams.
Good technical knowledge and a keen eye for details
