About the Role

They are seeking an accomplished Senior Pre-construction Manager to lead the early-stage delivery of high-performance commercial interiors projects. This pivotal role will account for:

Providing strategic pre-construction leadership—from feasibility and concept design through to tender readiness.

Coordinating with internal design teams, commercial leads, and external authorities to define accurate cost, programme, and risk parameters.

Establishing cost plans, enabling value engineering while safeguarding design quality and client outcomes.

Overseeing procurement strategies, tender processes, and subcontractor evaluation.

Leading design risk reviews, CDM engagement, and pre-construction project controls.

Ensuring documentation and processes are compliant and integrated into project governance.

Requirements

Extensive experience in pre-construction or estimating roles within commercial interior design, refurbishment, or fit-out sectors.

*

Skilled in developing cost plans, tender documents, procurement schedules, and commercial risk assessments.

*

Strong client and stakeholder management abilities, with an aptitude for representing pre-construction delivery with credibility.

*

Well-versed in design-quality control, CDM pre-construction duties, and design risk analysis.

*

Effective communicator, adept at coordinating between design, commercial, and delivery teams.

*

Experience within UK fit-out markets is essential; multi-regional or multi-office exposure is highly desirable
