Senior Quantity Surveyor
This is a Permanent position and Coleman James Ltd are acting as an Employment Agency
Role Purpose
To manage the financial and commercial aspects of assigned projects, ensuring accurate measurement, valuation, and effective control of costs and cash flow.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out timely and accurate measurement and valuation of works
*
Maintain records of all commercial activities
*
Produce project cost forecasts and financial reports
*
Attend or delegate to valuation meetings with clients
*
Procure and manage subcontractors; approve orders and payments
*
Certify subcontractor payments in line with contracts
*
Support and mentor junior team members
*
Process weekly payments for labour and plant
*
Assist with take-offs and Bills of Quantities for tenders
General Duties

*

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
*
Background in commercial roles within construction
*
HND, degree, or equivalent (preferred)
*
Knowledge of construction methods and contracts
*
Proficient in Microsoft Office
*
Experience with contract documentation and frameworks
