Finishing Manager

Responsible for managing all finishing trades to ensure high-quality delivery, on time and within standards, across a large student accommodation scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive and coordinate finishing works (joinery, M&E, decorating, flooring, kitchens, bathrooms, etc.).

*

Monitor programme progress, resolve delays, and report to the Project Manager.

*

Carry out snagging/de-snagging and maintain benchmark standards.

*

Supervise subcontractors and chair coordination meetings.

*

Enforce health & safety, compliance, and quality control.

*

Support client inspections and oversee handover of completed units.

Skills & Experience

*

Proven experience as a Finishing Manager/Foreman or Site Manager on large residential or student accommodation projects.

*

Strong technical knowledge of finishing trades and sequencing.

*

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

*

Competent with drawings, specifications, and snagging software.

*

CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid required.
