I am working with a leading contractor on a landmark multi-block apartment development in Leeds with a project value exceeding £100m. The scheme consists of several residential blocks.
I am recruiting for a Freelance Site Manager to join the team, taking responsibility for day-to-day site management and reporting directly to the Block Manager/Project Manager.

Role & Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to Programme
• Coordinate subcontractors and trades on site
• Manage H&S compliance and site inductions
• Report progress, risks, and issues to the Block Manager
• Maintain excellent communication with site teams, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale residential or mixed-use developments
• Ideally experienced in working for a Tier 1 Main Contractor
• Strong track record of managing subcontractors and delivering to programme
• In-depth knowledge of health & safety requirements and site procedures
• CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid are all essential for the role.

• Duration: Ongoing freelance assignment – 12 – 18 months
• Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience. £300 – £320 per shift
