The Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a part in taking the commercial lead across the projects, managing budgets through to completion. This is a high-impact role where your expertise will directly influence budget strategy, value engineering, and overall project delivery. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and play a key role in shaping commercial outcomes, while also mentoring junior team members and contributing to the wider success of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Lead procurement, tendering, and commercial management of major residential schemes.
Produce monthly CVRs, forecasts, cost-to-complete reports, and board-level reporting.
Oversee subcontractor management, including performance reviews and payments.
Drive value engineering initiatives and support risk assessments and contract strategy.
Mentor and develop Junior and Assistant QS team members.
Work in close collaboration with development, planning, construction, and finance teams.
Provide advice during pre-construction on cost planning and design optimisation.
Ensure compliance with commercial policies, contracts, and company processes.About You

Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
5+ years’ relevant experience in residential or mixed-use development.
Proven commercial acumen with strong budget and risk management skills.
In-depth knowledge of contract law, procurement, and cost reporting.
A confident leader with experience mentoring or managing teams.
Capable of presenting commercial performance at a senior level.
