Fire Door Engineer (North London)
A leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for experienced Fire Door Engineers/Carpenters to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. You will be working on Social Housing projects. For the majority you will be carying out maintenance and remedial works to fire doors as well as installation works when required.
The works will be based across North London, and will cover both internal and external door works. There will be aspects of the role where you will be working around members of the public, including but not exclusive to FED's, corridor doors, riser cupboards and access panels.

Responsibilities include:
* Installing and carrying out remedial works to new and existing fire doors
* Complete works in line with the manufacture’s specification
* Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately
* Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work
* Liaise with customers and members of the general public
The successful candidate will have:
* At least three years’ experience working with fire doors
* NVQ or equivalent in carpentry and joinery
* Experience installing fire doors and frames, full sets and full assemblies
* Full UK driving license
* 3rd party accreditation/registration under the FIRAS scheme (desired)
