Position Overview

This long-term contract role offers a unique opportunity for a seasoned tradesperson transitioning into a surveying-focused position. The role involves diagnosing and surveying repair reports across social housing properties, determining fix scope and pricing via SOR (Schedule of Rates), and preparing comprehensive briefs for in-house trades.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce clear job instructions for internal trades, covering voids, kitchens, bathrooms, responsive repairs, and general maintenance.
• Operate across diverse contracts—responsive repairs, void refurbishments, compliance works—within Hampshire.
• Engage effectively with residents, site teams, housing officers, and client representatives, clearly communicating repair requirements.

• Uphold health & safety standards while delivering high-quality workmanship oversight.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Comfortable with paperwork and digital logging systems.
• Exceptional communicator—clear in describing technical details to both office and client teams.
• Capable in tenant-facing roles, adaptable across diverse stakeholders.
• Possesses formal experience in surveying or SOR-based price scheduling.
• Holds a full UK driving licence—company van and fuel card provided.
