Revit Technician
A client within the Private Sector based in Merseyside is currently recruiting for a BIM Coordinator to join their team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, permanent position with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a building services (MEP) environment.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to develop detailed 2D and 3D MEP models and produce Stage 3–5 drawings in line with company standards, client requirements, and BIM Execution Plans, supporting project delivery across a range of prestigious construction projects.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Developing 3D and Stage 5 buildable models for MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, containment).
• Coordinating and collaborating with other disciplines to deliver fully integrated BIM models.
• Reviewing and maintaining drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with ISO 19650 standards.
• Supporting project delivery, ensuring timescales and budgets are met.
• Contributing to BIM coordination workshops and client meetings.
• Providing clash avoidance and resolution within models.
• Inputting into workflow improvements and supporting best practice within the team.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require:
Revit certification or demonstrable experience of similar roles.
Confident using Revit for MEP Services.
Strong modelling and coordination skills with knowledge of ISO 19650 standards.The below skills would be beneficial for the role:
• Experience of Stage 5 buildable models.
• DfMA (Design for Manufacture & Assembly) experience.
• Comfortable working independently with strong problem-solving ability.
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000 per annum (DOE), plus pension and benefits. Hybrid working is available, with 1 day per week from home on completion of probation.
