About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Manager with a strong Air Conditioning (AC) background to lead and deliver commercial projects. The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of AC installation and upgrade projects across commercial contracts, ensuring compliance, quality, and client satisfaction.

This role is ideal for a Project Manager with hands-on AC/Mechanical experience who is now leading projects from design through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple AC installation, upgrade, and refurbishment projects from inception to completion.

*

Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful delivery.

*

Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control to ensure profitability.

*

Ensure works are completed to specification, within agreed timescales, and in line with health & safety standards.

*

Oversee site teams, including engineers and subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship and compliance.

*

Prepare project documentation including RAMS, progress reports, and handover packs.

*

Provide technical input on AC systems including VRF/VRV, split systems, and chillers.

Skills & Experience

*

Previous experience as a Project Manager within the FM or Building Services sector.

*

Strong technical background in Air Conditioning systems.

*

Excellent organisational, communication, and client management skills.

*

Commercial awareness with experience in budgeting and financial reporting.

*

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications & Certifications

*

F-Gas Category 1 certification (advantageous).

*

City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent).

*

Project Management qualification desirable (e.g. PRINCE2, APM).

*

Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
