A specialist main contractor is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

The role

You will be site-based with a Senior Quantity Surveyor and a skilled site team on a £9m hotel refurbishment scheme.

This is your chance to take ownership on a small part of the scheme worth £500k, with the full support of the onsite team.

What will you be responsible for?

Working under the guidance of a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll manage costs, assess financial viability, and ensure value for money while maintaining compliance with legal and contractual standards.

Your day-to-day may include:

* The financial assessment and reporting of projects

* Supporting procurement activities and evaluating subcontractor returns

* Managing applications for payment and conducting on-site measurements

* Producing commercial reports and maintaining accurate project documentation

* Collaborating with internal teams, subcontractors, and client representatives

2 years experience working an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor or a subcontractor
