We are recruiting for a detail-driven Planner to play a critical role in coordinating the planning of engineering and design services within a specialist access design consultancy.

You’ll be responsible for designing and executing schedules that optimise delivery, minimise costs, and keep projects running smoothly. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on problem-solving, loves organisation, and wants to be a key part of a growing, innovative team.

Core Responsibilities

Plan weekly projects for multiple engineers, aligned with contracts and deadlines.

Coordinate full project cycles, including supplier liaison, site logistics, and staff scheduling.

*

Forecast and report on weekly/monthly targets to directors.

*

Use internal software to monitor live project progress and adjust schedules.

*

Analyse workflow and quote conversion, suggesting improvements.

*

Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 & 14001 standards.

*

Liaise with clients, directing queries to the appropriate engineers.

*

Provide insights into planning performance and support continuous improvement.

Essential Skills & Experience

✅ Proven experience in planning or project coordination.
✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
✅ Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
✅ Proficient in Microsoft Office and planning software.
✅ Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities.
✅ Calm under pressure, adaptable, and a strong team player.
