About the Role
On behalf of our client, a well-established and highly reputable window and door specialist, we are seeking an experienced Installation Manager (Glazing). This is a key leadership role overseeing residential installation projects, ensuring seamless delivery, compliance, and exceptional customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will bring strong glazing knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to lead and motivate installation teams.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage installation teams on residential window and door projects.
*
Ensure all works meet the highest standards of quality, building regulations, and Conservation Area requirements where applicable.
*
Act as the primary liaison between the business and customers during the installation process.
*
Coordinate project timelines with product deliveries and survey schedules.
*
Lead and mentor installers, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.
*
Manage remedial works and guarantee registrations post-installation.
*
Track progress, budgets, and maintain accurate project records.
Essential Skills & Experience
*
Proven background in glazing, ideally with PVCu and aluminium systems.
*
Previous experience in managing installation teams within the fenestration sector.
*
Strong project management and organisational abilities.
*
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
*
Knowledge of building regulations and installation best practices.
*
IT literacy for scheduling, reporting, and administration.
*
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Attributes
*
Familiarity with FENSA, IWA, or similar accreditation processes.
*
Understanding of Conservation Area planning and compliance requirements.
*
Practical hands-on glazing or installation background.
*
Proactive, solution-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills.
