Salary: £70K + package

I'm currently working with a well-established national housebuilder who are looking to add a Senior Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team. With a strong pipeline of developments and a reputation for delivering quality homes, this is a great time to be joining them.

This role will suit someone who thrives on taking ownership, can manage multiple projects at once, and wants to play a key part in driving financial performance across live housing sites.

The role:

Oversee the commercial and financial management of multiple residential developments

Take responsibility for budgets, valuations, subcontractor procurement and payments

Negotiate to achieve best value and maximise margins

Provide accurate cost reporting and forecasting to senior management

Collaborate closely with site teams and other departments to ensure smooth project delivery

Mentor junior surveyors and support their development within the team

What you'll need:

Background in residential housebuilding (essential)

Strong commercial and cost control skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects

HNC/HND or degree in a construction-related subject

Proficiency with Excel and other cost management systems

Full UK driving licence
