A leading construction subcontractor is looking for a motivated and proactive Health & Safety Advisor to join their team. This is a hands-on, varied role supporting multiple live construction projects across the West Midlands. You will become a key part of a business that puts health and safety at the heart of every project and values the development of its people.

The Role

As a Health & Safety Advisor, you will play a central role in creating safe, compliant, and efficient working environments. Key responsibilities include:

Providing expert health and safety support across live construction projects

Conducting regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards

*

Working closely with site teams, subcontractors, and management to embed a positive safety culture

*

Ensuring compliance with all current legislation, company policies, and procedures

*

Delivering engaging toolbox talks, inductions, and training sessions to educate and empower teams

*

Supporting the implementation of HSE initiatives and continuous improvement programmes to drive safety standards forward

The Person

We are looking for candidates who bring energy, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to health and safety. You will have:

Proven experience as a Health & Safety Advisor within the construction industry

*

NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) – essential

*

Strong communication and influencing skills, able to engage and motivate teams on site

*

A genuine passion for promoting best practice and continuous improvement in safety

*

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between multiple sites
