Job Title: Assistant Site Manager – New Build Housing

Project Size: Large timber frame development – 695 new homes

About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Site Manager to join a timber frame volume housing development in South Birmingham. The role is being offered on a temporary to permanent basis, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to secure a long-term position with a leading housebuilder.

Responsibilities

Support the Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations.
Coordinate and supervise trades to ensure quality standards and deadlines are met.
Monitor health & safety on site and ensure compliance at all times.
Assist with snagging, inspections, and site handovers.
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider project team.Requirements

Essential previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within new build housing
Knowledge of timber frame construction preferred.
Valid SMSTS/SSSTS, First Aid at Work, and CSCS certifications.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
