Quantity Surveyor – Residential, Hotel & Listed Refurbishment

A principal contractor leading the way in delivering logistically complex schemes have an opportunity for an ambitious and driven Quantity Surveyor. This will be an excellent opportunity for you to join an exciting company with a strong pipeline of work and a supportive team environment.

As Quantity Surveyor, you be involved in commercial and prime residential refurbishment projects up to £70m within London & M25.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing cost estimates, tender submissions, and procurement documentation.
Managing project budgets and control costs.
Monitoring variations, valuations, and subcontractor payments.
Completing the monthly management reports
Conducting site visits and ensure commercial processes are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
Compiling cost and value reports each month for multiple projects and issuing directly to the commercial director.
Final accounts and project close-outs.
Leading the commercial aspects of internal and external meetings.
Your Key Skills & Attributes:

Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying
Minimum 5 years Quantity Surveying experience in the London construction sector.
Good working knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g. JCT).
Strong numerical, IT, and communication skills.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
Committed, driven with high energy levels. .
