About the role:
A consultancy is seeking a hard-working and capable Building Surveyor to join their team. This is an exciting role for someone to come in and join an excellent team.

Key responsibilities:

Undertake detailed building surveys, inspections, and condition assessments
Identify building defects and propose cost-effective repair and maintenance solutions
Prepare and present professional technical reports, including schedules of condition, dilapidations, and building pathology assessments
Deliver advice on design, construction, repair, and refurbishment projects
Monitor works on-site to ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and health & safety regulations
Ensure compliance with statutory, sustainability, and building regulations requirements
Provide party wall advice and prepare necessary notices
Provide maintenance reports on planned preventative works
Maintain strong client relationships and provide excellent customer service
Keep up to date with changes in legislation, industry standards, and best practice
Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience working as a Building Surveyor
Proven experience in building surveying within residential and/or commercial sectors
Driving license and access to your own vehicle
The ability to work in a team or individually
Qualified Building Surveyor to RICS
