Junior Engineer – Highways & Earthworks
Location: Norwich
Start Date: 22nd September
Duration: 2 Years
Rate: £150 – £250 per day

A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking a Junior Engineer to support a major highways and earthworks package in Norwich. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career on a large-scale infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with setting out and surveying duties

*

Support the Site Engineer and Project Manager in day-to-day operations

*

Ensure works are carried out in line with technical drawings and specifications

*

Maintain accurate site records and quality assurance documentation

*

Liaise with subcontractors and site teams to ensure smooth delivery

Requirements:

*

Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related field

*

Previous experience on highways or earthworks projects (placement or graduate-level accepted)

*

Competent with AutoCAD and setting out equipment (e.g. GPS, total station)

*

CSCS card required
