About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Health and Safety Manager / Site Supervisor to join our team on a key project based in Liverpool. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all health and safety regulations are maintained on site and that compliance with industry standards is upheld throughout the duration of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all health and safety activities on site in line with UK regulations and company standards.

Manage and maintain safety documentation, including but not limited to:

*

LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations)

*

PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations)

*

Risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)

*

Daily/weekly site safety checks

*

Deliver comprehensive site inductions for all new operatives and visitors.

*

Ensure all site personnel are aware of and adhere to safety protocols.

*

Liaise with subcontractors, site managers, and external auditors as required.

*

Carry out toolbox talks and safety briefings regularly.

*

Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe practices.

*

Promote a strong health and safety culture across the site.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience in a Health and Safety or Site Supervisor role within construction or a related industry.

*

NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification (beneficial).

*

Experience with LOLER and PUWER compliance (essential).

*

Strong knowledge of current UK health and safety legislation.

*

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

*

Ability to lead and influence a team with a positive, proactive approach.

*

CSCS card

*

First Aid qualification (desirable).
