About the Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive SMSTS Site Foreman to oversee works on a busy roads and utilities project based in Edmonton, North London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong civil engineering experience to join a well-established team on an ongoing contract.

You’ll be responsible for managing site activities, supervising teams, and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to spec — particularly in roadworks, utilities, and public realm infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily site operations

*

Manage and motivate site operatives and subcontractors

*

Ensure compliance with health & safety and site procedures

*

Monitor progress against program and report to site management

*

Liaise with engineers and client representatives

*

Maintain accurate site records and reports

*

Oversee roadworks, drainage, and utility installations

Requirements:

✅ Valid SMSTS certification
✅ Proven experience as a Site Foreman on roads and utilities projects
✅ Strong understanding of civil engineering and streetworks
✅ CSCS card
✅ First Aid at Work
✅ Excellent communication and leadership skills
✅ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
