Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Planner to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in project planning, scheduling, and coordination, ensuring that residential and commercial projects are delivered on time and efficiently. You will work closely with project managers, directors, and clients’ design teams to develop realistic and achievable programmes that align with project goals and sustainability targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain project schedules for residential and commercial construction projects.
* Monitor progress and provide regular updates, highlighting risks and opportunities.
* Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely delivery.
* Support resource planning and allocation to optimize project efficiency.
* Assist in preparing reports, programme reviews, and client updates.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Planner or equivalent in construction projects, ideally residential or commercial.
* Strong knowledge of planning tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
* Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a project team and with external stakeholders.
* Understanding of sustainable construction practices is a plus.
