Fire Risk Assessment Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced FRA Surveyor to join a busy team in Bristol, working on a variety of fire safety projects within the social housing sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with proven passive fire protection knowledge to take on a long-term role with responsibility for delivering accurate surveys, inspections, and compliance advice.

Key Responsibilities:

Competently carry out pre-surveys of fire doors.

*

Conduct compartmentation surveys, identifying non-conformance/issues.

*

Provide solutions to rectify FRA-related issues and ensure compliance.

*

Complete both pre- and post-work inspections, including compliance checks.

*

Produce detailed survey reports and provide technical advice and recommendations.

*

Oversee and support the delivery of FRA works on site.

Knowledge / Experience Required:

*

Proven experience in Passive Fire Protection Surveying.

*

Competent using surveying applications such as Site Audit Pro and PlanRadar.

*

Experience working within a social housing environment.

*

Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, including Approved Document B.

*

SMSTS / SSSTS required.

*

IFE Fire Door Inspections – Level 3 (preferred).

*

NVQ / ASFP Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection (preferred).

*

Third-party accreditation such as FIRAS, BM Trada, or IFC (preferred).

*

Full UK Driving Licence.
