Project Quantity Surveyor

The Role
We are recruiting for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join a leading demolition contractor delivering high-profile, complex projects in Central London. This role offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging schemes with a business recognised for excellence and innovation in the demolition sector.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage all commercial aspects of demolition projects from procurement through to final account.

* Prepare and manage budgets, cost plans, and valuations.

* Oversee subcontractor accounts, procurement, and contract administration.

* Work closely with project teams to monitor costs, risks, and variations.

* Provide accurate and timely reporting to senior management.

* Ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements.

Requirements

* Minimum 3 years' demolition experience in a quantity surveying role.

* A relevant commercial degree (e.g., Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management).

* Strong understanding of demolition methodologies and associated risks/costs.

* Experience working on complex projects, ideally in Central London or similar urban environments.

* Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

* Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a collaborative team.
