LEV Engineer
Job Title: LEV Engineer
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Salary/Benefits: £28k – £45k + Training & Benefits
Due to recent expansion, a leading name within the LEV industry is looking to recruit a knowledgeable LEV Engineer. It is preferred that candidates will have good access to the M1 for travel across client sites. The role will require engineers to provide high quality services to both new and existing clients, to ensure repeat business and positive working relationships. Experience / Qualifications:
– Must hold the BOHS P601 qualification
– Successful record working as an LEV Engineer within dust and fume environments
– Working knowledge of COSHH and HSG 258 guidelines
– Flexible to travel as required
– Strong literacy and numeracy skills
– Proficient in using IT software to complete reports
The Role:
– Attending client sites to thoroughly examine and test local exhaust ventilation systems
– Working on dust and fume systems and fume cupboards
– Evaluating overall system performance and making recommendations for works
– Replacements and installations of motors, filters and blades
– Producing site-specific reports
– Working across a variation of commercial, heavy industry and manufacturing client sites
– Maintaining strong rapport with clients
– Ensuring to adhere to strict HSE guidelines
