Working Foreman

Job Title: Working Foreman

Location: Rochdale

Salary: £200 – £250 a Day

The Client

Our client is a leading residential construction business, they specialise in the construction of high-end residential projects including new build apartments and houses. They are looking to add  an experienced Working Foreman to their team.

The Role of Working Foreman

You will be working on a residential project in Rochdale until June 2026.

– Lead daily site operations, ensuring tasks are completed safely and to a high standard
– Work hands-on with tasks including stud wall construction, drylining/plaster boarding, and general joinery
– Supervise and allocate work to trades and labourers
– Maintain high levels of workmanship and productivity
– Ensure health & safety standards are followed, including toolbox talks and daily checks
– Communicate effectively with the Project Manager to report on progress and site issues
– Support snagging and ensure projects are finished to spec

Qualifications & Experience Required:

– Background in joinery or carpentry
– Previous experience as a Foreman, Site Supervisor, or Lead Tradesperson
– Comfortable leading teams and working on the tools
– Experience in residential projects preferred
– CSCS card (essential)
– SSSTS and/or First Aid (desirable)
