Responsibilities and duties of the Environmental and Sustainability Lead role
Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager you will:
Develop and implement sustainability strategies and goals.
Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics and compliance.
Lead sustainability projects to reduce environmental impact.
Collaborate across business units to ensure sustainability has been integrated into business operations.
Engage with stakeholders, communicating and educating on sustainability issues and initiatives.
Regular environmental audits and assessments.
Build partnerships with external organisations and groups to advance sustainability objectives.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Bachelors degree or equivalent in environmental management or sustainability – or something related.
Min. 5 years experience in a related role.
Proven experience of developing and implementing environmental and sustainability strategies and projects.
Full UK driving license.
Personal skills
The Environmental and Sustainability role would suit someone who is:
