Quantity Surveyor
Quantity Surveyor
North West London (Ideal Locations, Uxbridge, Ruislip, Aylesbury, Reading, around those areas)
£65,000 – £75,000 + benefits
You’ll get a direct path to associate directorship inside 2 years, backed by hands-on mentoring from senior leaders who have done it themselves. You’ll work on high-end fit-out projects that push your technical skills and commercial thinking, while building a reputation with top-tier clients.
Flexible working is built around your life, not a rigid schedule. You’ll have autonomy over your time, with clear targets and the tools to hit them without micromanagement. That gives you more control over your day and the chance to focus on what moves your career forward.
With a team of experienced surveyors around you, there’s constant learning on tap. You’ll pick up advanced contract strategies, sharpen your negotiation game, and get exposure to complex project delivery that few get to handle this early.
And the package? It’s more than just a salary. You’ll get private medical cover, a car allowance, 25 days holiday (which increases the longer you’re with the company), and access to wellbeing support when you need it.
What you'll do
You'll manage the financial aspects of major fit-out projects, giving you hands-on experience in cost control, contract negotiation and commercial strategy. You’ll shape project delivery from handover to completion, working closely with clients, contractors and suppliers to ensure everything runs smoothly and stays on budget.
Processing claims and payments will give you a deeper understanding of project finance, while producing cost reports will sharpen your analytical skills. You’ll also have the chance to influence sustainability choices, advising on materials and costs that meet BREEAM, LEED, SKA and WELL standards.
What you'll need
* Experience working for a subcontractor in the interior fit-out industry
* Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
* Proven experience producing and analysing CVRs
Good communication and organisational skills will help you work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders. Plus, being proficient in Microsoft packages and CRM systems will ensure you can manage project data effectively.
