Electrical Chargehand

BMSL Group have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Chargehand to join one of our establsihed clients. This position is for our EP&R sector covering projects nationwide in the UK.

Salary is negotiable

What you will be doing?

* Lead a team ensuring required tasks are completed in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

* Assume a leadership role on site and maintain standards of safety and comply with company Health, Safety and Environmental Management System requirements.

* Design an essential daily plan of action/works. Assist in designing a two-week look ahead for your team.

* Confirm all material needed for works is available to all operatives.

* Complete and submit daily allocation sheets.

* Complete and submit weekly progress reports.

* Work to the Project Programme and monitor and record productivity/efficiency (SE).

* Work with field Engineers to perform functional tests.

Is this the job for me?

* Full Electrical Craft (installation) NVQ Level 3 or equivalent essential

* 18th Edition Wiring and Inspection Testing/Initial Verification essential

* Suitable Candidates must have a minimum of 2 year’s experience working within a contracting environment.

* CSCS Card

* Full clean driving license.

* Strong safety focus.

* Excellent communication and leadership skills.

* Proven capability in decision making.

* Flexible, committed and work well under pressure.
