Quantity Surveyor

About the Role:

Our client is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic and growing construction team specialising in high-end commercial fit-out projects across London. You will play a key role in the financial delivery and cost management of fast-paced, design-led projects from pre-construction to final account.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation

Manage subcontractor packages and procurement

*

Monitor project progress and keep accurate financial records

*

Liaise with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure project goals are met

*

Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with financial targets

*

Final account negotiations and settlement

Requirements:

*

Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the commercial fit-out sector

*

Strong understanding of UK construction contracts and procurement routes

*

Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills

*

Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field

*

Proficient with cost management software (e.g. Bluebeam, Excel, CostX, etc.)
