Quantity Surveyor / Site Surveyor – Major UK EV Project

We are working with a well-established Tier 1 contractor, recognised for delivering large-scale construction and civil engineering projects across the UK. They are now seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Site Surveyor to join the team on one of the country’s largest EV battery developments – a £4bn project based in Somerset.

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor / Site Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting the successful commercial delivery of this landmark project. You will be responsible for:

Managing costs, contracts, and valuations.

Assisting with procurement and subcontractor management.

*

Supporting reporting and forecasting to ensure budget control.

*

Working closely with site teams to monitor progress and resolve issues.

*

Contributing to the smooth running of both site and office operations.

Requirements

*

Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Site Surveyor within construction or civil engineering.

*

Strong commercial awareness with excellent attention to detail.

*

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

*

Comfortable with a site/office split – 3 days per week at the head office in Harrow and 2 days per week on-site in Somerset.

*

Strong communication and organisational skills.
