Quantity Surveyor

I am working with a well-established contractor specialising in groundworks and civil engineering solutions for a wide range of projects across London and the Home Counties. They are now looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team, based in Uxbridge.

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of multiple groundworks and civil engineering projects, supporting delivery from tender through to final account. Key responsibilities include:

Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts.

Managing subcontractor procurement, tendering, and negotiations.

*

Monitoring project costs, budgets, and cash flow.

*

Liaising with site teams and project managers to track progress and resolve issues.

*

Preparing forecasts and commercial reports for senior management.

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within groundworks, civil engineering, or RC frame projects.

*

Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, and commercial reporting.

*

Excellent negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.

*

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

*

Based within commuting distance of Uxbridge, with flexibility to visit sites as required.
