We're seeking an experienced Operational Manager to join a well-established automotive finance and dealership business on a 6-month interim basis, providing hands-on leadership and stability during a key period of change.

Description

This is a fast-paced environment where you'll be a critical support to the CEO and senior team – ensuring the smooth running of a busy dealership and operational site.

What you'll be doing:

Take ownership of day-to-day operations across Finance/Admin, Asset Management, Workshop, Sales, and Service.
Drive efficiency and performance within the workshop and dealership.
Ensure customer experience is well-managed across walk-ins, marketing leads, and auction activity.
Balance cost control, efficiency, and quality – making processes practical, quick, and effective.
Act as the "No.2" to the CEO, freeing them up to focus on projects and strategy.

Profile

What we're looking for:

Automotive or motor trade background – service management, fleet, aftermarket, or dealership.
Strong operational leadership – able to step in quickly and manage existing managers.
Commercial mindset – able to improve efficiency and control costs.
Resilient, proactive, and able to act quick.
