Location: Suffolk (Project Office) with some time in Camberley, Surrey (Hybrid Role)

About the Role
We are looking for up to three Geotechnical Engineering Estimators to join the Projects Division. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in pricing works for a large-scale national infrastructure project on the Suffolk coast.
You will be responsible for producing accurate budgets, cost advice, and tender submissions – ensuring they are competitive, clearly presented, and delivered on time.
This role will suit someone with strong geotechnical estimating experience, ideally with exposure to civil engineering pricing too.
What You'll Do
Prepare accurate budgets, cost studies, and tenders for major infrastructure works.
Review and prioritise new enquiries.
Work closely with technical, operations, and supply chain teams to develop winning bid strategies.
Present proposals to clients and support negotiations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Support the Business Development Manager in identifying new opportunities.
What We're Looking For
Degree in Civil Engineering (ideally with a geotechnical focus).
Strong knowledge of the UK geotechnical and civil engineering industry.
Proven experience preparing budgets, cost advice, and tender submissions.
Good communication skills – able to work well with both clients and colleagues.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Confident IT user (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Salesforce). Knowledge of Primavera P6 or Candy is a plus.
Valid UK driving licence.
Location & Travel
Mainly based at our Suffolk project office.
Some time in the Camberley office (Surrey) when required.
Travel to other sites and offices as needed.
