We are seeking an ambitious Architect to join a well-established, multi-award-winning UK architectural practice. This opportunity is based in the Midlands, with flexibility to work from either the Birmingham or Shrewsbury studio, supported by a friendly, collaborative, and design-led team culture.

About You
We are looking for a talented and ambitious Architect who is keen to grow with a busy studio. You will have an innovative approach to design, with strong visualisation skills and an awareness of design style. Be capable of precisely communicating concepts to technical and non-technical audiences using 3D models, drawings, written text and oral presentations. You will have both design and technical skills, be fluent in problem solving and have a strong eye for detail.
You will bring:
ARB registered Architect
5 years Post-Qualified Experience (some of this needs to be gained in the UK)
Proven commercial and contractual awareness
Advanced knowledge of SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other digital imaging tools
Good knowledge of Autodesk Revit
The Role
Working under the guidance of a Project Director, you will:
Develop briefs into innovative, sustainable design solutions that balance aesthetic, functional, and budgetary requirements.
Coordinate multi-disciplinary inputs and collaborate closely with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
Prepare statutory submissions (Planning, Building Regulations, Gateway approvals), and liaise with statutory bodies.
Advise on material selection, write specifications, and ensure technical compliance with UK construction law and standards.
Manage design risk registers and maintain robust project documentation.
