Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Brighton, Sussex
Salary: £75,000 – £90,000 + package (DOE)
Job Type: Permanent

Overview:
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading construction and development business based in Sussex. With a growing pipeline of residential and mixed-use projects across the South East, they are now looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QS to step into a senior role and take ownership of projects valued £10m+, working for a company with an exciting growth trajectory.

Responsibilities:

Full commercial management of projects from pre-construction to final account

*

Manage costs, budgets, procurement, and subcontractor packages

*

Prepare and present commercial reports to senior stakeholders

*

Negotiate and manage contracts to ensure best value and risk management

*

Work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor at senior level

*

Background in managing projects with values of £10m+

*

Experience in residential and/or mixed-use developments

*

Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills

*

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
