Site Engineer – Civil Engineering – Yorkshire – Permanent

A long-term opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor. The first assignment will be a major structural repair project in the Humberside area, with further schemes across the Yorkshire region within highways & infrastructure, public realm, water, and flood alleviation to follow.

Role:
As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring technical accuracy and quality on site. Duties will include:

Setting out for civil engineering and structural works

*

Checking drawings, measurements, and quantities

*

Assisting with planning, sequencing, and coordination of works

*

Supervising subcontractors and ensuring works align with design/specification

*

Producing and reviewing ITPs and QA documentation

*

Supporting project leadership with progress reporting and site records

*

Ensuring H&S and environmental compliance at all times

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects

*

Strong knowledge of structures, concrete repairs, and/or bridge works (preferred)

*

Proficient in setting out techniques, GPS, and AutoCAD

*

Excellent organisational and communication skills

*

CSCS card (essential); SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid (preferred)

*

Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or similar discipline
