The Role
As Customer Care Operations Manager, you will take responsibility for leading and managing a team of Customer Care Maintenance Operatives. You’ll be focused on driving customer satisfaction, ensuring issues and defects are resolved quickly and effectively, and upholding the highest standards of service across the business.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and support Customer Care Maintenance Operatives, ensuring they have the tools, training, and coaching needed to deliver outstanding service.

Oversee remedial works and drive effective SLAs to resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
*
Monitor and control costs, ensuring sign-off and recording policies are followed while identifying contra-charging opportunities.
*
Diagnose complex defects, oversee remedial strategies, and manage works associated with formal complaints.
*
Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, supply chain partners, and internal teams to minimise issues and streamline processes.
*
Manage NHBC / Premier / LABC resolutions and claims, working closely with the wider Customer Care team.

Ensure health & safety compliance across all activities, promoting safe working practices at all times.
What We’re Looking For
*
Proven track record managing customer care or maintenance teams, ideally in the housebuilding or construction sector.
*
Alternatively, experience within a high-performing customer care team with involvement in coaching, process improvement, or operational management.
*
Strong practical knowledge of construction, trades, or property maintenance.
*
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-first mindset.
*
Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
*
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
*
Full UK driving licence (company van provided)
