Quantity Surveyor

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist drylining sub-contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the commercial, residential, and fit-out sectors. With a healthy pipeline of work and ambitious growth plans, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of drylining projects, ensuring financial efficiency, contract compliance, and strong commercial performance. You’ll be working closely with the commercial team, project managers, and clients to maximise profitability while maintaining excellent working relationships.

Responsibilities

Managing the commercial and financial aspects of drylining packages

*

Preparing valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts

*

Measuring works and carrying out take-offs from drawings

*

Negotiating and managing subcontractor accounts and payments

*

Monitoring costs and reporting on project performance

*

Ensuring compliance with contractual and company procedures

*

Assisting in tendering and pricing of new projects

Requirements

*

Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within drylining, interiors, or related subcontracting environment

*

Strong knowledge of construction contracts (JCT/NEC)

*

Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills

*

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

*

Strong communication and organisational skills

*

Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related field preferred
