We are currently recruiting for an experienced and detail-focused Quality Control Inspector to join one of our industry-leading clients in a fast-paced production environment.
If you have a strong eye for detail, take pride in maintaining high standards, and can confidently follow and enforce quality procedures across production stages, this could be the ideal role for you.
What You'll Be Doing
Performing detailed inspections at every stage of the production process, up to final delivery
Checking rebar and cages against technical drawings and models
Conducting pre-pour inspections (dimensions, fittings, concrete cover)
Monitoring Quality Assurance Record (QAR) compliance
Identifying, investigating, and reporting issues
Raising and distributing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
Supporting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Preventative Action (PA) activities
Conducting cover checks, crack surveys, and pull testing
Assessing remedial works and green-tagging units for approval
Completing Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) to ensure load readiness
What We're Looking For
Essential:
A proactive approach to health & safety and process compliance
Confidence to challenge and raise quality concerns when needed
Good communication skills across departments and levels
Ability to manage time and prioritise workload
Solid understanding of quality standards within a production or manufacturing setting
Desired:
Previous experience in a large or complex production environment
Trade background or practical QA/QC experience
Ability to read and interpret engineering and reinforcement drawings
Strong IT skills (including Microsoft Office)
Experience with non-destructive and destructive testing methods
Numerate with good analytical skills
History of personal development or relevant training
